Founded in 1990, Dynamite Party's mission was to provide great entertainment for any occassion or event.
Mike Kazis founded the company as a one man business that provided contract work to the largest DJ Entertainment company of the time, Star DJs. Star DJs revolutionized the DJ industry with the concept of the cordless microphone and the Party Host. Mike received valuable training from the company's founders and top personnel.
In 1994, Dynamite Party and Star DJs parted ways and Mike merged the company with another Staten Island company, called Top Hat Sound and Lighting. Together they formed Top Hat Affairs. The merger lasted for three years and the company did well training and recruiting young new DJs, including Matt Kanarick, once the voice of the Staten Island Yankees, and Robert Benemerito, a young extroverted and technically saavy teenager who later became the co-owner of DYnamite Party.
When Dynamite Party and Top Hat dissolved their merger, Mike and Rob became partners in a mission to make Dynamite Party a well-known entity in DJ entertainment
